We are seeking an experienced Music Operations Administrator to join our team in Brentford. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of an established music business. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration across digital releases, rights and royalty processes, inventory management and general office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage digital music releases across distribution platforms.
- Monitor and manage physical stock levels across multiple warehouse locations in the UK, Europe and the USA.
- Coordinate inventory transfers, replenishment and stock reporting.
- Work closely with distributors, fulfilment partners and logistics providers.
- Liaise with MCPS and other industry bodies regarding licensing and administrative matters.
- Support licensing and catalogue administration activities.
- Support in the maintenance of accurate release schedules and product information.
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, providing timely and professional support regarding orders, releases, product availability, licensing matters and general account queries.
- Provide general office administration and operational support.
- Assist with reporting and data management as required.
Required Experience
- Previous experience within the music industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of music industry operations and administration.
- Experience dealing with MCPS and music rights administration.
- Experience managing digital music releases and metadata.
- Experience with inventory, stock control or supply chain administration.
- Previous experience handling customer enquiries and delivering excellent customer service in a professional business environment.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
