An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Reception/Admin Clerk to join the Charlton Medical Centre family. The successful applicant will be expected to cover the hours of 9am to 5.00pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday. There is also the requirement to work occasional Saturdays and evenings on a rota basis for Extended Access cover.
Experience in a healthcare setting is not essential, but candidates should have good levels of literacy and IT skills. Managing patient queries are a key point of the role, therefore excellent communication skills and time management are essential for the successful applicant to possess.
Main duties of the job:
- You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Duties will involve working in both the Administration and Reception departments as directed by the Management Team.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
