We are looking for a sport science intern to join our team and play an important role in supporting the club's continued growth and success. Working within a fast-paced professional football environment, you will contribute to delivering high standards across the club while helping create an environment where players, staff, and supporters can thrive.
- Support with the planning, delivery and review of pitch and gym based physical development.
- Assist with the daily monitoring of the squad using external/internal load monitoring and strength and power testing, producing appropriate daily/weekly/monthly reports for coaching and MDT staff where required.
- Support where appropriate with the planning, delivery and review of reconditioning strategies in line with departmental philosophy.
- Support matchday sport science provision on match days (nutrition, GPS, individual activation & post-match conditioning).
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily academy operations, consistently upholding industry best practice and professional standards.
This role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across the club in a dynamic sporting environment where flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism are essential.
