JOB PURPOSE
The Role
To drive forward Charlton Athletic’s Commercial Partnership Programme, ensuring best-in-class delivery across both partner servicing and new business acquisition. The role supports the Club’s broader transformation efforts by enhancing commercial value through strategic partnerships.
This role is pivotal in managing relationships with Club Partners—delivering contractual rights, proposing innovative activations, and ensuring objectives are met and exceeded. This management-level role will be pivotal in driving forward our Lead Partnerships and will serve as a key decision maker within the commercial team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and maintain effective relationships with existing partners, acting as their main point of contact.
- Manage relationship alongside Commercial Director with our Lead Partners
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of all partnership rights and benefits.
- Track, manage, and report on partnership deliverables and KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team efficiency and partnership delivery.
- Develop creative activations aligned with both partner and club goals.
- Support the Commercial Director in developing innovative partnership solutions and go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to new business development, including prospecting and building the commercial pipeline.
- Line management of two Commercial Partnerships Executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to fulfil partnership objectives and explore upsell opportunities.
- Contribute to departmental projects and broader commercial initiatives.
