We are currently recruiting for a variety of positions:

- U18 Performance Analyst Intern
- IDP Analyst Intern
- Foundation Phase Analyst Intern
Location: The Valley / Sparrows Lane Training Ground
Salary: £Unpaid
These positions are sandwich-year placements and are open to students currently enrolled in a placement year as part of their academic programme.
Hours: Full time, matchdays inclusive
We are looking for academy analysis interns to join our team and play an important role in supporting the club’s continued growth and success. Working within a fast-paced professional football environment, you will contribute to delivering high standards across the club while helping create an environment where players, staff and supporters can thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with reports and video clips for upcoming opponents
- Film and capture academy games and training
- Live and post-match coding of training and games using HUDL Sports Code
- Support with creating clips for post-match video analysis for the team and individuals
- Help maintain Charlton Athletics’ team and individual statistical databases
- Create reports on Charlton Athletics’ loan players
- Update Charlton Athletics’ best practice video library
- Assist with departmental projects
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all company regulations regarding safeguarding, health, safety and security

Essential Experience / Qualifications
- Studying for a degree in Football or Sport
- Good understanding of football coaching, tactics and technical details
- Interest and passion for analysis of football
- Ability to commit for the 2026/27 season
- Be willing to commit to unsociable hours, i.e. weekends
- Be trustworthy with sensitive data
- Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn
- Proficient computer literacy
- Organisation skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence or ability to travel to various locations due to the demands of the role
