To lead the coaching and development of Charlton Athletic’s JPL players by delivering high‑quality, UEFA B‑standard coaching and matchday experiences that support each player’s technical, tactical, physical, and personal growth in line with the club’s playing philosophy and values.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Coaching & Player Development
- Plan, deliver, and review engaging and progressive training sessions aligned with Charlton Athletic’s playing philosophy.
- Lead the team on matchdays within the Junior Premier League season.
- Provide individual player feedback and development plans.
- Support the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development of players.
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with the JPL programme lead and wider coaching team.
- Contribute to maintaining high performance standards across the programme.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure a safe learning environment.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain an up to date coaching log and session plans.
- Provide match reports and player assessments when required.
- Monitor attendance and manage player performance data.
