About the role

Please note this is a 12-month FTC.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, talented Head of Copy, Social to take the day-to-day lead on all social copy across the many key platforms and channels the brand is active on, elevating our social tone of voice and engaging our community in fresh, social-native conversations every day.

You will have strong written English skills, a creative, meticulous eye for detail and be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding scriptwriting ability and confidence working on set are essential, with proven experience creating copy and concepts for performance marketing ads.

As a Head of Copy, Social you will

  • Oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand social copy and scripts – from tease to launch and repush – and the brand’s full portfolio of social channels
  • Lead the team to ideate exceptional written work that maintains our position as a market leader on social and help to grow our communities by adapting the best trending language to our advantage
  • Manage key senior stakeholders to ensure diverse business needs are reflected and adapted for social best practise
  • Maintain Charlotte Tilbury’s tone of voice across all platforms, to ensure all copy represents the brand DNA and take the lead on scriptwriting for Charlotte’s personal social presence, campaign activations and on-set capture
  • Ensure a seamless delivery of long and short form copy for both captions, stories, scripts, PM ads and on-set activations and content, as well as internal presentations
  • Work across multiple projects at one time, with the ability to prioritise and deliver projects to agreed deadline

Who you will work with

Reporting to the Global Director of Social and Content, this role will work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, Creative and Digital team to share the best language and ideas every day.

About you

  • Strong copywriting skills, with significant relevant experience within beauty/fashion
  • Proven experience scriptwriting for social live activations and performance marketing ads
  • On-set experience, with the ability to adapt scripts and copy in real time
  • Proven capacities managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience of writing creative copy for social and an ear for trending language
  • Have a sound grasp of the Charlotte Tilbury brand, voice and aesthetic
  • Ability to adapt to different tones of voice and copywriting needs
  • Excellent communication skills, with an articulate manner – written, over the phone and in person
  • Great relationship-building skills and the ability to network at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using project management tools such as Trello
  • An affinity for the beauty industry
  • Meticulous eye for detail to proofread all copy at pace and live during events
