We are looking for a motivated and proactive Store Design Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of high-quality retail store projects across the UK & ANZ. This role focuses on managing projects from briefing to installation within retailers, ensuring that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is executed consistently, efficiently and in line with our operational, budget and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the delivery of concession store projects including approvals, retailer coordination and supplier liaison.
- Maintain our design standards across all architectural details and ensure they are reflected accurately in retailer environments.
- Prepare, own and update project CPAs and present progress back to the business.
- Manage design pack submissions for internal approval and retailer sign off, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, internal teams and retailers, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Support the review of manufacture drawings with the design team to ensure design integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in development and updates to design standards guidelines.
- Manage all admin elements of projects including documentation, filing, tracking, purchase orders and project budgets.
- Attend installations, resolve issues on site and ensure snagging is completed to brand standard.
- Support the broader team with meeting coordination, preparing decks, updating presentations and capturing meeting notes.
- Ensure all project information is organised, accurate and accessible.
Who you will work with
You will report directly to our Senior Store Design Project Manager - UK & ANZ, working alongside a creative and talented wider VM & Store Design UK team. You will also work cross-functionally with teams such as Commercial, Retail, VM, PR & Global, as well as external suppliers and partners.
Requirements and qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within Project Management in Store Design, including managing the approval process for retail stores in all environments (Retailer Stores, Free Standing Stores).
- Extensive knowledge of best practice within the construction industry including accessibility and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate design issues visually, in writing and verbally.
- Strong communication, ability to influence and articulate points of view; excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise, manage multiple deadlines, and work at pace.
- Decisive problem-solving skills related to construction materials and methods, awareness of design trends and materials; understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural concepts.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project planning and time management skills with an eye for detail and space optimization.
- Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives to create exceptional store environments and customer experiences.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of monday.com is advantageous; working knowledge of Vectorworks, AutoCAD and basic Photoshop, InDesign.
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements is advantageous.
