About the role: In Supply Chain, we are uniquely positioned to see our products come to life, end to end – starting with our materials through to the touch point of our brand with consumers. Your focus will be ensuring that contracts in place with our EMEA fulfilment providers are optimised to full potential. Your role is critical in providing our Commercial, Customer Supply Chain & Planning teams with resources & service levels that ensure we are considered a well regarded partner & supplier to our customers.
The role will involve collaborative joint project initiatives that span Supply Chain E2E, reducing cost/waste, working with customers & our contractors to improve Service, Delivery Efficiency & Cost. The role requires a hands on leader, who is highly detail oriented while also capable of making strategic, high‑level decisions. As a Senior Logistics Manager EMEA you will:
- Have in depth knowledge & understanding of contract management, focused on Fulfilment/Logistics activities.
- Understand the importance of Systems infrastructure & real time data exchange to ensure optimal Service to our Customers & reduced manual intervention.
- Align performance from our fulfilment providers to our customer service metrics & ensure there are Joint Cost 2 Serve Initiatives to improve & support Supply Chain efficiencies.
- Lead & manage Omnichannel Logistics contracts locally to secure internal KPI’s as well as Service as Measured by Customer, integrating new Customers & 3PL partners, as required.
- Ensure sufficient capacity & resource at contractors to support business requirements in short, mid & long term.
- Conduct frequent visits to the Contractors facilities, particularly at peak times.
- Verify invoices vs. rate card, correct accounting code allocation, analyse cost & present insights on cost drivers & potential improvements.
- Secure a regional blueprint for integration of systems, processes, compliance, insurance, security & technology.
- Lead & manage the team for inventory control in CT Stores & 3PLs - Implementing and overseeing regular cycle counting, daily stock reconciliation within the ERP system & promptly investigating discrepancies.
- Manage the 3PL accounts - lead Business Reviews focused on KPIs & Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Lead & evolve Cost 2 Serve initiatives aligned to Customer Engagement Strategy & sustainability objectives; focused on Joint Value Creation & Collaboration activities with the Customer to improve Service, Lead Times, Delivery Efficiency, Sustainability & Cost.
- Ensure compliance to governance models for 3PLs - Inventory Control (Reporting), Business Security (including Cyber Attacks) & Customs & Excise.
- Have a vested interest in industry movements & future approaches to logistics & fulfilment services.
About you: Track record managing & executing contracts, including successful negotiations & securing optimal service levels even in long standing contracts to ensure continuous improvement & optimum cost efficiencies. Intermediate level at Microsoft Excel (able to use VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables). Good interpersonal, communication & relationship management skills including ability to influence & communicate at all levels. Service mindset, taking ownership to resolve contractual issues with a proactive approach to issues & opportunities as well as understand the financial impact of decisions. Ability to build relationships & be a strong team player both within Contractors, Customers & Charlotte Tilbury wider stakeholder group with focus on improvements to data integration, daily processes & reporting. High levels of numeracy & logical reasoning; ability to assimilate & act on complex data & information. Understanding of Export & Import procedures a bonus. Experience with Netsuite/SAP beneficial, however training on current systems will be provided in role.
