Multi-Site Business Manager – Manchester Airport

Location: Manchester Airport

You act as the Charlotte Tilbury ambassador in Travel Retail by leading and engaging your team with the Tilbury vision. You are a dynamic and inspirational Business Manager who coaches the team to achieve sales and operational targets, unites locations as a strong team, and recruits and trains top talent. You guide and support a team from a distance and operate across borders as needed.

Accountabilities

PEOPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• People management is the core of the role: set up team members for success and build a true Tilbury community in the stores.
• Monthly rota scheduling and payroll budgeting and forecasting (responding to trading conditions).
• Drive sales through team motivation to hit daily and monthly KPI targets.
• People planning; ongoing talent management and succession planning; manage workplace conflict and HR processes.
• Identify training needs with the Area Trainer and provide feedback on advancement opportunities.
• Lead and motivate a #1 team through daily briefs and 1:1 performance meetings.
• Own end-to-end recruitment in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Advisor and proactively spot and attract local talent.
• Support and guide the airport pass application process, including conducting security interviews for team members’ passes.
• Manage a large team with effective coordination, communication, and productivity.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead by example to achieve strong results and motivate the team daily.
• Drive KPI performance to achieve market-leading results and maintain #1 ranking and growth.
• Ensure the best customer experience by embedding the magic service methodology, even when not present.
• Build brand awareness by creating lasting emotional connections with customers, focusing on travel moments and diverse traveler needs.
• Plan for the calendar year with consideration for New Product Launches and market impacts from the prior year.
• Devise and deliver a compelling eventing strategy for the counter.
• Navigate team and customer interactions, address challenges, and foster solutions for a seamless experience.
• Understand diverse customer needs worldwide; tailor approaches to different demographics and cultures.
• Weekly and monthly productivity reporting to the Area Manager.

OPERATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborate with host stores, senior stakeholders, and external vendors; ensure brand compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage stock levels (sales, audits, counts); provide proactive counsel to the Area Manager on stock.
• Adhere to health and safety guidance in the workplace.
• Execute flawless visual merchandising and grooming standards daily.
