About The Role
The Travel Retail, Middle East & MEA regions are experiencing exceptional growth as we expand into new countries. We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to support this exciting journey. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Travel Retail & MEA, you will play a key role in delivering all financial metrics for the region, partner with Commercial teams on Retail‑Net Sales budgets, own cost tracking, deliver ad‑hoc analysis and lead month‑end reporting and process improvement.
As Finance Analyst you will:
- Support the preparation of weekly sales reports and participate in weekly Commercial meetings to understand, challenge and identify sales performance.
- Assist with the budget and forecasting process of OPEX and CAPEX, working with Marketing, VM, PR, Store Design and Training teams for inputs.
- Lead monthly review meetings with business partner budget holders to ensure timely and accurate recognition of expenditure.
- Partner with Retail teams to support forecasting of Retail Staffing costs for the region.
- Assist in preparing P&L files and month‑end commentary packs for Senior Management.
- Validate and post month‑end journals to ensure accuracy in Travel Retail & MEA and Global management accounts.
- Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre for timely and accurate month‑end postings.
- Drive PO compliance with business partners through monitoring, reporting and stakeholder education.
- Contribute to new business opportunities through building and analysing business case models.
- Support post‑investment appraisals and ROI analysis for commercial initiatives.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis to support the Senior Finance Manager – Travel Retail & MEA.
Who You Will Work With
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager – Travel Retail & MEA. Collaborating with Regional and Group FP&A, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Shared Services and Tax. Acting as a key Business Partner to Travel Retail and Middle East teams.
About You
- Part‑qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA with a minimum of 3 years industry experience. Retail experience is desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, SUMIF, INDIRECT, etc.) and ability to build models from scratch.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in communicating across finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Commercial and analytical mindset.
- Flexible, proactive, eager to learn with a positive can‑do attitude.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a scaling business.
- Experience with Anaplan, Looker, NetSuite/SAP desirable but not essential.
