About the role
Charlotte Tilbury are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing for our home market UK, Pureplayers as well as Australia and New Zealand! We are looking for a candidate that is ready to take on a highly fast-paced, creative and strategic role, managing a large and talented team responsible for 3 sub functions, Trade Marketing, Category Marketing & Regional Media!
As Head of Marketing, you will act as the regional brand guardian, inspiring your team & wider functions, regionally & globally, creating and implementing a retail focused & record breaking marketing strategy within the scope of the overarching regional & global objectives.
The role requires a driven and highly competent senior marketeer who has a deep understanding of the luxury/beauty industry and has their finger on the pulse when it comes to future trends. We are looking for a superstar who shares our passion to make everyone in the world feel the most beautiful version of themselves!
As our Head of Marketing you will
- LEAD & DELIVER INDUSTRY DISRUPTIVE 360 MARKETING CAMPAIGNS. Underpinned by creative excellence, you will work closely with all key departments from regional Marketing, Media, VM, Commercial, REOP, Digital, Global Marketing, plus external partners to deliver legacy 360 campaigns, new store launches and events that push industry boundaries and break records! You will be responsible for defining the launch strategy across our regional channels in relation to the industry as well as our global business!
- MEDIA & DIGITAL NATIVE. Bring thought-leadership and digital excellence to innovative and disruptive brand activities within the market, raising total brand awareness, accelerating conversion & consideration whilst creating memorable brand moments; challenging the status quo by identifying best practices across the industry and opportunities to increase Charlotte Tilbury’s share of voice and ranking in your region, retailers & doors with a strong lens on driving the best omnichannel customer experience.
- DRIVE BEST IN CLASS TRADE MARKETING STRATEGY. Oversee the planning and delivery of retailer marketing plans across the region, working closely with your wider trade marketing and commercial team and engaging retail partners to secure exceptional marketing support, executed with flawless attention to detail.
- BECOME THE ULTIMATE CATEGORY & PRODUCT EXPERT. Be data driven & product obsessed! You will be responsible for understanding the regional market, product trends & evolving customer patterns to fuel product & campaign opportunities.
- OWN BUDGET MANAGEMENT. Gate keeper of the full marketing budget, responsible for demonstrating high attention to detail when budget planning and phasing.
- PROCESS OBSESSED. Support in establishing clear processes within the Marketing and well as wider UK team to ensure a best-in-class delivery is achieved across the region and function, particularly focusing on cross functional & regional collaboration. Drive the planning, approval & follow-up of key projects to gain alignment from all key internal & external stakeholders.
- THOUGHT LEADERSHIP. Be a visionary, be creative, be disruptive! We’re looking for bold, big thinkers who will propel our business forward. We are looking for an exceptional Storyteller, verbally & visually!
- TEAM CENTRIC! As a senior marketing figure, you are responsible for fuelling a legacy team & culture within our small yet growing team but also within the wider business. Your role is dependent on building long lasting, autonomous & trusting relationships across all internal areas with special focus to all global & regional leads but also with our key external stakeholders.
Who you will work with
- You will report directly into our wonderful Marketing Director, UK, AU,NZ and PP.
- You will work closely alongside global Marketing teams, as well as cross functionally with the wider UK Function.
- You will have 5 direct reports and 5 indirect reports.
About you
- You have a strong, demonstrable background within Regional and Trade Marketing, gained within Beauty or Retail.
- You are a strong leader, you have led and developed high performing teams and pride yourself on your leadership skills.
- Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair.
- You have experience manging budgets and P&L.
- You work well under pressure, you can ruthlessly prioritise and know how to influence up and work in an agile environment with ease.
- Have a flexible and professional attitude, you are hungry to learn and welcome challenge!
- Have exceptional organisational and prioritising skills, with great attention to detail and is results-driven.
