About the role

We’re looking for motivated, curious, and collaborative engineers who are excited to build game‑changing features with luxury‑level polish and reliability.

  • Building scalable back‑end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Designing scalable systems and well‑defined service interfaces, with a strong understanding of modern software architecture and testing practices.
  • Writing clean, high‑quality code that is easy to test, maintain and extend across both front‑end and back‑end services.
  • Driving quality through excellent automated testing practices, including API testing to enable continuous deployment.
  • Understanding how modern web applications work end to end, from browser HTTP requests and API calls through to service‑layer logic, data handling and page rendering.
  • Using AI tools and practices to enhance product features, improve code quality and optimise engineering workflows.
  • Building high‑performance, reliable and scalable solutions on AWS or similar public cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience building modern mobile‑first web applications and components using React, Type Script or Next. js is beneficial.

About you

  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot in an AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment.
  • Front‑end knowledge of React, Redux, Type Script, Node. js, Next. js and SCSS, and testing with Jest, Enzyme, React testing library and Cypress.
  • Orchestration of test and deployment processes using Circle CI with Git Hub and Maven.
  • Experience with Contentful and Elastic Path as content and commerce engines respectively.
  • Familiarity with Optimizely to run A/B testing on features.
