Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a full time Agricultural Territory Sales Representative to join our Sales Department based in Welshpool. You will be responsible for being a point of contact for customers in your designated area, selling products to customers and representing the company professionally and conveying our excellent service to customers.
Charlies Ag & Turf is a leading Agricultural / Horticultural Machinery dealer. We supply an extensive range of Agricultural and Groundcare Machinery across Shropshire and Mid Wales. Our main franchises are John Deere Ag & Turf Machinery, Kramer, Ktwo, Pottinger, Grillo, Predator, Marshall, Fleming plus many other leading brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Sale of New and Used equipment
- Maintain & grow customer base within designated area
- Quote, configure and provide specifications of new machines for customers
- Following up on Sales enquiries
- Promoting Charlies Ag & Turf for the excellent service that Charlies Ag & Turf provides from Sales through to Aftermarket Support
- Proactively visit customers onsite
- Take machines out on demonstrations for customers and demonstrate how to use the machine to its full capacity
- Attend shows and represent the company on stands
Preferred attributes:
- Driving Licence
- Experience is preferred but not essential
- Product knowledge or experience working in the Agricultural industry is preferred
- Knowledge of GPS and technology
- Ability to use standard computer applications
- Professional and proactive attitude
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent customer relationship skills
The full-time position is for 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with additional hours as the needs of the business dictates. The Welshpool Depot is open 6 days a week with Saturday working on a rota basis.
