We’re looking for an eager, ambitious and inspired, Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer to work closely with our Head of Content and Creative, whilst working collaboratively with our wider Marketing team, and internal stakeholders. This junior to mid-weight role is ideal for someone with video editing experience and a strong sense of creative direction, who is excited by the idea of creating dynamic and engaging social media adverts for a variety of e-commerce clients, whilst also supporting the wider Charlie Oscar team in bringing the agency’s brand to life across a range of design tasks – from our website to marketing events., * Lead the storyboarding, scripting, editing and creation of world-class social adverts, integrating snappy editing and compelling motion graphics

Manage the workflows for multiple clients, including Charlie Oscar’s own content marketing efforts, ensuring consistency and exceptional content delivery under tight deadlines

Develop innovative and compelling storytelling techniques and storyboards that achieve our client’s performance objectives on paid social across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)

Gather performance data of campaigns based on certain KPI’s, to help shape and refine content strategies and identify opportunities for reactive and innovative content creation

Support with ad-hoc filming tasks for Charlie Oscar’s social efforts, from capturing lo-fi footage from events and editing footage in line with content briefs.

Strong creative vision with an ability to turn a brief into an exciting, engaging piece of video content that captivates audiences.

Prepare materials including timelines, client updates, and progress reports for clients

Live and breathe social content trends, implementing them into your campaigns. Be the go-to in our office for creative insight.

2+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphic design

Demonstrated experience in content creation skills, supported by a diverse portfolio (including longform and short-form content).

Proficiency in design software including Photoshop, Figma and video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro.

In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and content preferences.

Exceptional storytelling and visual composition abilities.
