We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Team Leader to join our Packing & Assembly operation in Wells. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about delivering results through their team.

As a Senior Team Leader, you'll take ownership of safety, quality, productivity and people performance across a key production area. You'll lead by example, coach and develop Team Leaders and Operatives, and play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Choose from Two Permanent Shift Patterns:

  • Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – Midnight: £23.95 per hour inclusive of all premiums (Equivalent to over £42k per year)
  • Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 1:00am: £24.63 per hour inclusive of all premiums (Equivalent to over £43k per year)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deliver daily safety, quality and production targets.
  • Manage labour, resources and operational performance within your area.
  • Drive GMP, Health & Safety and quality standards.
  • Coach Team Leaders and Operatives to maximise capability and engagement.
  • Resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with wider departments to ensure successful delivery of the production plan.
  • Support succession planning, training and employee development.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous leadership experience within a manufacturing, food production, logistics or operational environment
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for achieving results
  • The ability to make decisions, solve problems and perform under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
