Overview
As a Senior Team Leader, you'll take ownership of safety, quality, productivity and people performance across a key production area.
You'll lead by example, coach and develop Team Leaders and Operatives, and play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the operation.
- Shift Patterns
- Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – Midnight – £23.95 per hour inclusive of all premiums (equivalent to over £42k per year)
- Monday – Friday, 5:00pm – 1:00am – £24.63 per hour inclusive of all premiums (equivalent to over £43k per year)
- Role Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
- Deliver daily safety, quality and production targets.
- Manage labour, resources and operational performance within your area.
- Drive GMP, Health & Safety and quality standards.
- Coach Team Leaders and Operatives to maximise capability and engagement.
- Resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with wider departments to ensure successful delivery of the production plan.
- Support succession planning, training and employee development.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous leadership experience within manufacturing, food production, logistics or an operational environment.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
- Strong people‑management and communication skills.
- A hands‑on leadership style with a passion for achieving results.
- The ability to make decisions, solve problems and perform under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
