Our Cooking teams play an important role within the kitchen. It’s their responsibility to make sure that each dish we make at Bigham’s is delicious. The team manage the cooking of ingredients for the Assembly teams to then create our award winning dishes.
Working Hours: 4 Days on 4 Days off - 6am to 6pm
Role Responsibility: As a Cooking Team Member You Will Be:
- Following recipe cards
- Cooking fresh ingredients in an industrial kitchen
- Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
- Maintaining food records and logs
- Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham’s standards are met
- Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
- Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area

Experience of working in a food handling environment as a production operative would be beneficial however, isn’t essential as we will provide food safety and quality training for those who don’t have prior experience.
Package Description: This is a role for hard workers; those who take real pride in their work and enjoy working in a challenging but rewarding environment. When you start your career with Bigham’s you’ll receive:
