Role Responsibilities
- Work within all health & safety and food safety control measures, raising any concerns to management.
- Follow product key cards to ensure all products meet required standards at Bigham’s.
- Contribute to a great working environment at the London Kitchen.
- Highlight areas of improvement to the Kitchen leader to help continuous improvement.
- Welcome new team members and support them where appropriate.
- Follow the absence policy and return-to-work procedures during absences.
- Raise concerns around training and take responsibility for personal development.
- Follow all H&S controls and training received.
- Highlight any H&S concerns to manager or H&S manager.
- Report near misses and accidents in a timely and detailed manner.
- Ensure quality standards are delivered following product key cards.
- If key cards are not readable, raise concerns to team leader or area manager.
- Be aware of performance expectations to deliver product to budget; communicate via team leader or area manager.
- Escalate any deviation from daily plan to team leader or area manager immediately.
- Work with department leaders to deliver operational KPIs and targets.
- If applicable, ensure job postings in your area are completed accurately and communicate issues to leaders.
- Have basic understanding of material variance to drive improvement and corrections.
- Record downtime information, accurately accounting for lost time.
- Engage in problem solving, identifying opportunities for improvement.
