We are looking for a Talent Advisor for Bigham's Quarry to manage the talent attraction and selection and lead the local training agenda.
Responsibilities
- Recruit for Quarry β Overall management of all Quarry recruitment (Kitchen & Ops Support), direct & indirect. Ensure we work with the right partners & manage their ongoing performance. Support the Talent & People Administrator to successfully recruit & onboard to retain for our hourly paid population (both permanent team and Temp to Perm).
- Employment brand β Manage the local brand building journey, in line with overall Bigham's employment brand approach, to become an employer of choice. Key focus on Indeed recommendation, local socials, press & events to promote our amazing culture & benefits, sustainable ethos and career opportunities.
- Training β Lead delivery of the Quarry's learning agenda, from onboarding through to leadership development programmes. Ensure our processes & learning meet business needs, are BRCGS compliant & bring our foodiness culture to life.
- Diversity and inclusion β Take the initiative on Diversity and Inclusion approaches across the talent agenda to achieve wider diversity & greater inclusion, feeding into our B Corp and For All workstreams.
- Systems & budget β Maximise the potential for automation, system usage & efficient ways of training using existing systems & providers and work towards building better ways of working. Manage local recruitment & learning budgets for maximum impact.
- Data led insight β Develop automated management information systems to provide regular talent attraction insight & efficacy of the learning agenda. Use insight to drive better decisions, identify improvement areas & celebrate successes.
- Site Security β Support the People and Talent Administrator to ensure site security processes (e.g., ID passes, access management, visitor sign-ins, fleet and ANPR details) are maintained.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience
- Previous experience of managing recruitment & delivering training
- Proven data capabilities
- Experience of working collaboratively with line managers to coach performance
- Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation
- Understanding of auditing learning
Skills
- A confident communicator and collaborator β able to project themselves and their ideas appropriately internally as well as externally, working with others
- Able to work with stakeholders to identify learning needs and create appropriate interventions and/or brief external partners
- Ability to analyse data & external trends to identify issues/needs and translate into plans that will positively impact recruitment and learning
- Competent user of MS365 and SharePoint at intermediate level
- A great organiser with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, jumping seamlessly between recruitment & learning and work at pace
