Salary: £55,747 - £58,569 per annum
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, operational management, and legal oversight for Charlestown Community Primary School’s new 30-place specialised Resource Provision.
- Manage staff, allocate resources, and ensure legal compliance of all Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within the unit.
- Serve as key member of the leadership team, bridging specialist support with mainstream community life while maintaining inclusive education standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Degree.
- NATIONAL AWARD for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) / NPQ for SEND or equivalent.
- Proven track record in SEND leadership and statutory EHCP management.
- Deep expertise supporting pupils with ASD and SLCN, with practical understanding of trauma‑informed and restorative practices.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to manage external agencies, lead and mentor a specialist support team, and design bespoke learning pathways.
