We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Attachments Fitter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic attachments used in various heavy machinery and construction equipment. This will be a role that will also involve delivering/collecting and attaching/detaching attachments to/from machinery on site.
Responsibilities
- Deliver/Collect, install, assemble, and fit hydraulic attachments to/from heavy machinery.
- PDI and inspect machines and attachments to make sure they are fit for purpose.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all hydraulic components meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise hydraulic performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in hydraulic systems, fitting, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience with construction or agricultural machinery.
- Certification in hydraulic safety and maintenance.
