The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Senior Sales Assistant required for our York store. This contract is 32 hours per week with overtime available. Candidates must be flexible to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Work with the store management team to ensure the store, people and operation trade safely and legally, including opening and closing the store.
- Provide expert product knowledge to stay up to date with the latest store ranges and promotions.
- Take ownership of customer and wedding appointments and support the Store Supervisor with inducting, training and coaching Sales Assistants.
- Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Deliver high visual merchandising standards and maintain store housekeeping in line with company VM, Health & Safety guidelines and security processes.
- Process deliveries, transfers and merchandise quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Retail experience (fashion or customer-facing preferred)
- Some supervisory or key-holder experience (desirable)
- Strong customer service and selling skills
- Leads by example on service, selling, and shop floor standards
- Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive in owning personal development
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
