We’re on the lookout for an Ecommerce Content Assistant to join our team and play a key role in shaping our customers' online shopping experience. The primary purpose of the Ecommerce Content Assistant is to optimise our websites and drive key performance metrics. In this role, the successful candidate will take ownership of managing products and promotions across all our websites (UK, US, Germany, Europe, Australia and Rest of World). The Ecommerce Content Assistant will work collaboratively with colleagues across Trade, Buying, Marketing, Merchandising and Design to ensure promotions, product information and categories are accurate, engaging and up to date.
What You Will Be Doing
- Content
- Build engaging homepage content aligned with key marketing messages and campaigns
- Maintain and update promotional messaging and visual assets across all websites
- Manage navigation updates, including entries and visuals, across different devices
- Conduct daily quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure a high standard of site accuracy and user experience
- Product
- Own and deliver seasonal product launches twice a year, with the support of the team, ensuring seamless and timely execution across all websites
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Design, and Buying teams to align on product strategy and launch requirements
- Manage weekly product launches on-site, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to timelines
- Create, update, and maintain product categories on the website, working closely with the Trade team to optimise performance
- Other
- Setting up all promotions for web, print and email testing from functionality before launch
- Take ownership of specific territories, ensuring the site reflects local trading requirements and priorities
- Dealing with customer queries shared by the customer service team
- Training new team members
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Proactive and highly motivated team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Previous retail experience
- Basic skills in HTML
- Salesforce experience
- French, German, Italian or Spanish is a plus
