The Role

We are on the lookout for a CRM Triggers & Automation Executive to support the strategy development, execution, and reporting of transactional and behavioural email & SMS triggers for the US. Working with the CRM Manager over Journeys & Automations and cross‑functionally, this role will optimise our fledgling US trigger program and help expand these programs to the Canada and Australia territories, enhancing retention and driving long‑term loyalty through these hyper‑targeted journeys.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own and maintain the performance of 7 email trigger journeys (36 emails) each for US, AU, CA. This includes fixing bugs, monitoring deployments and benchmarking sends, and troubleshooting where issues arise across the email and web channels.
  • Regularly update triggers in line with BAU (trade/promotional) activity, supporting key promotions, retail versioning, and new season creative.
  • Uncover opportunities to optimise journeys through A/B testing across email, web experience and SMS and further segment journeys with offers and contact cadence tailored to Prospects, Reacts, Nursery and other key customer groups.
  • Own weekly reporting & analysis for all email and SMS triggers journeys and lead monthly share outs with leadership.
  • Monitor email & SMS deliverability and list hygiene to ensure optimal inbox placement.
  • Support the US Retention team with ad hoc ‘trigger’ projects including the roll out SMS triggers that work in line with email and owning the retail e‑receipts platform, Slip.
  • Monitor industry best practices and competitor activity, using insights to drive strategy and/or propose new & innovative initiatives to grow the business.
  • Ensure all customer facing communications are compliant, feature relevant product, accurate information, properly represents the brand, and generally contributes to a positive customer experience/journey.
  • Collaborate with UK Retention Marketing, web and other cross functional teams to inform strategy and creative subject matter; introduce efficiencies wherever possible.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience building and executing email marketing programs, SMS and/or direct mail.
  • Experience analysing campaign performance data, communicating insights to key stakeholders, and optimising marketing strategy based on results.
  • Familiarity with working with external martech partners, like Wunderkind or Attentive is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of HTML.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate initiative to take on additional projects and learn new systems.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
