Overview
Are you passionate about cars and enjoy hands on mechanical work? We’re looking for a skilled production line Vehicle Dismantler to join our team at the Poole site. This is a great chance to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your skills help recycle and repurpose vehicles while supporting sustainable practices.
You’ll be working on our production line, dismantling end-of-life vehicles, identifying and removing quality parts, and ensuring materials are recycled efficiently. Every day brings variety and the satisfaction of knowing your work makes a real difference.
Location: Poole, BH12
Working Hours: 42.5
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday (6:00am–3:00pm one week/3:00pm–12:00am following week)
Reporting to: Production Executive
Responsibilities
- Following strict safety, quality, and environmental procedures while dismantling vehicles
- Removing and preparing high-quality parts for reuse and resale
- Extracting and sorting recyclable materials
- Dismantling doors, windows/glazing, interior & exterior components, suspension, powertrain, and dashboards
- Sorting waste materials into the correct recycling streams
- Meeting daily dismantling targets and contributing to a smooth-running team
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6:00am–3:00pm one week/ 3:00pm–12:00am following week)
Experience & Essential Qualities
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for cars and vehicle mechanics
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in vehicle mechanics or equivalent hands-on experience
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically, safely, and efficiently
- Problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail
- Confidence using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of dismantling techniques and mechanical systems
