The predicted salary is between 28730 - 28730 Β£ per year.

Purpose: Responsible for depolluting end-of-life vehicles by removing all fluids with a modern recovery system. Also, will be responsible for dismantling powertrain units that have been removed in the workshop and identifying the parts required for re-sale or recycling.

Location: BH1, Poole Site, Dorset

Salary: Β£28,730 per annum

Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8am - 5pm Monday to Friday)

Reporting to: All In Ones Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Applying dismantling safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Removing quality required parts without damage
  • Extracting and sorting the different recyclable core items
  • Working on a purpose-built depollution rig with specialist equipment
  • Draining all fluids from vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations are met
  • Completing routine paperwork
  • Sort waste materials into recycling streams
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in all areas
  • Ensure daily targets are met
  • Working on a 3-week rota, 1 week depollution, 2 weeks engine dismantling

  • Mechanical qualifications (preferably to level 2 or 3 in vehicle mechanics or similar) and/or work experience
  • Own tools essential

  • Knowledge of the techniques used for dismantling and use of power tools
