Are you passionate about cars and providing excellent customer service? Join our Tyre Bay team at our Poole site, where every day is fast paced, hands on, and customer focused. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with tyre changes, battery checks, and vehicle tracking, while making sure they leave with a smile. We treat our customers like family, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering service with honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a team, enjoys a variety of tasks, and wants to develop their skills in a supportive environment. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customer experience while learning from experienced colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Fitting, repairing, and replacing tyres accurately and safely
- Testing and replacing vehicle batteries
- Carrying out exhaust and brake replacements
- Performing wheel alignments and other basic vehicle checks
- Providing exceptional customer service, answering queries, and offering guidance
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a smooth, efficient, and safe workshop environment
- Supporting team members when needed, sharing knowledge and helping new colleagues settle in
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and ready for the next job
- Working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a Saturday rota of 8am to 1pm (four Saturdays on, three off)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in tyre fitting and manual handling
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Competent IT skills (training on internal systems provided)
- Conscientious, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in the motor industry is an advantage, but not essential
