Role Profile β Sales Advisor
Purpose: As one of amazing sales advisors, you are the first point of contact for incoming calls from customers looking to buy motor vehicle parts. With a good eye for detail, and great questioning skills, you will be matching car parts and advising customers with best options. You will be responsible for case management and problem solving, always supporting the customer, and going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Location: Poole Site, BH12
Salary: Β£26,500.00 pa
Shift Pattern
- Monday-Friday (rotating weekly pattern):
- Week 1: 8:00am β 4:15pm
- Week 2: 8:45am β 5:00pm
- Weekends (occasional):
- Sundays (WFH, every 2-3 weeks) 9:00am β 1:00pm
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and enquiries across all sales channels, delivering a professional and commercially focused customer experience
- Accurately identify required parts and confirm fitment with customers, ensuring confidence and reducing returns
- Prioritise the sale of own-stock parts before brokering alternatives, maximising availability, margin, and speed to fulfilment
- Quote, negotiate, and close sales in line with pricing and margin guidelines, balancing conversion with profitability
- Proactively upsell warranties and related products to increase basket value and protect the customer experience
- Manage customer interactions through to sale completion, ensuring clarity, ownership, and a smooth journey
- Maintain high standards of communication, responsiveness, and customer experience across all touchpoints
Experience & Essential Qualities
- Exceptional phone and email sales and customer service skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong sales mechanics and behaviours e.g.
- Strng commercial sales capability, including objection handling, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on maximising conversion, average order value, and margin while managing high enquiry volumes efficiently
- Advanced prblem solving and customer handling skills, including identifying correct parts with incomplete information, managing complex or difficult scenarios, and maintaining accuracy across systems and processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all mediums
- Active listener with strong customer focus
- Strong administration, numeracy, and IT skills
- Ability to organise, prioritise workload, and meet internal and external deadlines
- Technical knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories is desirable but not essential; full training provided
- Adaptable and open to continuous improvement in processes and systems
