We’re looking for an organised and proactive warehouse professional with a keen eye for detail, a passion for operational excellence and is well experienced in forklift driving. This is a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and supporting a productive team within our fast-paced distribution environment, using warehouse management systems to drive performance and maintain high standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and check stock in the warehouse accurately and on time using the WMS
- Monitor stock levels and accuracy, carry out regular stock checks and ensure WMS data is correct
- Pick, pack, and move stock using the forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Support and train colleagues on warehouse processes and WMS use
- Complete and pass on warehouse paperwork promptly
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety
- Communicate clearly with all teams and departments
- Work efficiently to meet productivity targets and KPIs
- Support accurate and efficient warehouse processes in line with the company’s Environmental Policy
Swing shift, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6:00am - 3:00pm one week / 3:00pm - 12:00am the following week)
What We’re Looking For
- Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential
- Experience in warehouse management, including using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to organise, track, and manage large volumes of data
- Experience in a fast moving, next day distribution/warehousing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies using WMS and other warehouse software
- Strong communicator with the ability to liaise with multiple teams effectively
- Detail oriented, with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
