We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Vehicle Dismantler to join our well-experienced team. Working in a modern, purpose-built workshop, you’ll carefully remove high-value components from prestigious cars and vans, giving quality parts a second life and supporting the circular economy. This is precision mechanical work using specialist equipment and proven processes - quality and safety come first. You’ll report to the department manager and play a key role in meeting daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely dismantle End-of-Life and nearly new vehicles in line with company, environmental, and health & safety standards
- Identify, remove and quality check high-value components for resale
- Work on a purpose-built dismantling ramp using specialist tooling and equipment
- Remove a wide range of components including:
- Doors, panels, interior and exterior trim
- Suspension and powertrain components
- Dashboards, airbags, and safety systems
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical qualification level 3 & 4 Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
- Confident using hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered equipment
- Solid understanding of dismantling techniques and vehicle construction
- Own tools essential albeit we supply some of the more heavy-duty tools
- Methodical, organised, and quality-focused approach to work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to follow structured processes and technical documentation
- Safety-conscious with a professional workshop mindset
- Practical problem-solver with attention to detail
