We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Supervisor with a passion for automotive production. You’ll oversee all aspects of our vehicle dismantling (mechanic) production line across both shifts, driving performance, maintaining quality and motivating a skilled team of mechanics and vehicle enthusiasts in our fast-paced recycling environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing all mechanic vehicle dismantling activities and ensuring operational efficiency on the production line.
- Overseeing the safe removal and dismantling of automotive parts:
- Doors, windows, and glazing
- Internal and external components
- Suspension, subframes, and powertrain
- Dashboards and exposed wiring looms
- Sub-assemblies post-production line
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanic qualification (ideally Level 3 or 4 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent) or relevant hands-on experience (essential).
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to achieve continuous improvement (essential).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels and functions.
- Resilient, calm under pressure and able to think on your feet.
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Mechanically minded with a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results.
