Purpose: As one of our Night Trunking team, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles between our depots based in Rugby and Poole.
Location: Rugby Site, CV21
Salary: Up to £40,000
Working Hours: 48 hrs per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - 5pm until finish (usually 9-hour shift)
Reporting to: Transport Manager & Delivery Team Leader
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transporting multiple vehicles between different Charles Trent sites
- Accurately completing all associated paperwork daily
- Communicating with our logistics department
- Complying with all drivers, environmental, and health and safety legislation and regulations
- Maintain good housekeeping practices ensuring vehicle is kept clean and tidy
Experience & Essential Qualities:
- C+E Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- HGV/LGV Driving experience is essential
- Thorough understanding of driving regulations
- Excellent communication with customer service skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- A conscientious approach to work with a commitment to health & safety
- Experience in the recovery industry is highly desirable but not essential
- Flexible approach to tasks and able to work alone
