What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving a modern seven‑car transporter across UK routes
- Collecting end‑of‑life, insurance and accident‑damaged vehicles from customers
- Loading, securing and occasionally winching non‑running vehicles
- Carrying out depot‑to‑depot transfers when requiredCompleting all paperwork accurately and on time
- Working closely with transport, operations and material handling teams
- Completing occasional nights out (paid extra)
- Working 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 (CE) licence holder
- Valid CPC and DIGI card
- Knowledgeable about drivers’ hours and regulations
- Literate and numerate with strong attention to detail
- Mechanically minded and confident in problem‑solving
- Great with customers and a professional ambassador on the road
- Experience with transporters or vehicle recovery (desirable, not essential)
- Able to provide two references
