We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Charles Trent Ltd. If you’re confident handling heavy loads, have a strong commitment to safety, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.

As eBay’s largest seller of recycled parts, we provide high-quality, recycled components with next-day delivery. Our state-of-the-art facility – the largest of its kind in Europe – showcases our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Storing salvage vehicles in racking systems
  • Locating and retrieving vehicles using tablet software
  • Handling vehicles cleared for breaking and auction sales
  • Assisting with vehicle movements across the site
  • Loading and unloading vehicles from large transporters
  • Working as part of a fast-paced team environment
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Following manual handling and safe working guidelines
  • Keeping your forklift safe, clean, and in working order, reporting any issues
  • Maintaining tidy and well-organised work areas
  • Working 42.5 hours on a swing shift pattern: 6:00am-3:00pm one week, then 3:00pm-12:00am the following week

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven forklift experience and licence with knowledge of moving 2+ ton vehicles or similar loads
  • Experience working on uneven ground
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Commitment to health and safety standards
  • Conscientious and accurate in your work
  • Flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reach truck licence (advantage but not essential)
