Purpose: Responsible for managing the administrative functions of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from receipt to dispatch while maintaining a high level of accuracy in data and process management. This role focuses on warehouse operations coordination, troubleshooting, and reporting discrepancies, with an emphasis on using warehouse management systems.
Location: Poole Site, BH12
Salary: £29,640 (includes shift premium £4,940)
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. We operate on a swing shift pattern from 6:00am to 3:00pm and then 3:00pm to 12:00am on a week on, week off basis.
Reporting to: BH1 Operations & Distribution Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of all items into the Distribution Centre, using the warehouse management system (WMS) to report and track any discrepancies.
- Process and monitor all items correctly through the WMS, escalating issues to the Distribution Supervisor as needed.
- Maintain stock integrity by overseeing manual or automated stock control methods.
- Support and train shift team colleagues on current operational and administrative processes, ensuring efficient use of WMS and other software tools.
- Oversee picking and replenishment of stock lines, ensuring data accuracy in the WMS.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and ensure company KPIs are met in both operational and administrative tasks.
- Ensure all warehouse-related paperwork is completed, checked, and passed to relevant departments on time.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the warehouse and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all statutory and company Health & Safety requirements, ensuring safe systems of work are always observed.
- Complete stock checks and assist in other departments as required.
- Contribute to the company’s Environmental Policy by maintaining accurate and efficient warehouse processes.

- Provide support across various departments as needed, particularly in administrative functions.

- Maintain open lines of communication with all warehouse teams and departments.
Experience & Essential Qualities:
- Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential.
- Experience in warehouse management, including using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to organise, track, and manage large volumes of data.
- Experience in a fast-paced, next-day distribution/warehousing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies using WMS and other warehouse software.
- Strong communicator with the ability to liaise with multiple teams effectively.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
