Role Profile – Run and Test Vehicle Tech
We’re looking for a practical, detail focused individual to join our team in a hands on role that’s central to the success of our operations.
Working with end-of-life vehicles, you’ll be responsible for identifying, testing, and preparing mechanical components for re‑sale or recycling.
Your work will directly support inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and the overall efficiency of the business.
This position requires a strong mechanicsbackground – whether through professional workshop experience or personal hands on knowledge.
Ideally, you’ll also hold a Level 3 Mechanics qualification, though we’re open to candidates who can demonstrate equivalent ability and enthusiasm.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Test and assess vehicle parts for re‑sale, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Create video evidence of tested engine systems, with the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Accurately input identified parts into a bespoke database system.
- Maintain stock levels and help identify potential new product lines to support business growth.
- Work to recognised processes and procedures, maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Support the wider team by carrying out additional duties as requested by your Line Manager, reflecting the nature and needs of the business.
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Experience & Essential Qualities
- Solid mechanics knowledge – either personal (hands on projects, restorations, etc.) or professional (garage, workshop, parts environment).
- Strong diagnostic skills with proven knowledge of modern vehicle management systems.
- IT literate with the ability to use databases and digital systems.
- A good general education and strong communication skills.
- A proactive and reliable work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
