This is an opportunity to develop expertise in liability claims through a trainee position. You will gain hands-on experience managing a broad portfolio of liability claims, working alongside highly qualified and experienced Liability Adjusters from investigation through to settlement.
Responsibilities
- Preparing case management plans and liaising with key stakeholders (insured, insurers/brokers, reinsurers) to ensure timely and professional claim resolution.
- Participating in complex discussions on cause of loss and communicating findings clearly to insurers.
- Attending site visits to investigate liability and quantum matters.
- Preparing reports and presentations covering all aspects of claims from instruction to settlement.
- Collating and analyzing management information for internal and external distribution.
- Producing reports in compliance with professional standards, internal guidelines, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supporting marketing and business development activities across the region.
- Guiding and instructing surveyors, lawyers, forensic scientists, accountants, and other experts as your experience grows.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders, approving interim payments, and preparing interim reports.
- Calculating and recommending claim settlements and preparing final reports.
- Reviewing timesheets against budgets.
- Undertaking ad hoc duties as allocated by management.
