Once the Insured makes a claim on their insurance policy, you will first investigate the claim to determine if it is legitimate and whether the policy covers the damage/loss. Key Responsibilities Perform loss adjusting for all claims and develop skills to assist in other areas of loss adjusting as required. This involves: Receiving and acknowledging new instructions from clients; Undertaking site visits and meetings with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds, and other interested parties mainly in the UK and possibly Europe; Preparing detailed reports and email advice on all aspects of the claim, reviewing policies and contracts, and planning future actions; Instructing and managing third-party experts and others as necessary; Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving payments, and other communications; Calculating and agreeing on claim settlements and preparing final reports.
