Responsibilities
- Undertake loss adjusting duties for all claims, continuously enhancing existing skills to support other areas of loss adjusting as required.
- Receiving and acknowledging new instructions from clients.
- Conducting site visits and engaging with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insured parties, and other stakeholders primarily within the UK and, occasionally, Europe.
- Preparing detailed reports and email correspondence, providing comprehensive commentary on all aspects of claims including technical investigations by CT and external experts, potential quantum, policy and contract reviews, and proposing and planning subsequent actions.
- Instructing and managing third-party experts and other relevant parties as necessary.
- Maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders, calculating and approving payments, and managing other related communications.
- Support, alongside colleagues, the development and enhancement of professional services delivered by Charles Taylor Adjusting, working closely with the Directors of the Property & Casualty Team across all aspects of the role.
- Contribute to and assist with the effective marketing of Charles Taylor Adjusting.
- Building and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
- Identifying and planning approaches to prospective clients.
- Supporting colleagues with their marketing initiatives.
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of client presentations.
- Hosting and attending networking and social events.
- Undertake ad hoc duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by management, within the scope of your capabilities and role.
