An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful British flooring manufacturer with over 40 years of heritage, supplying high-quality carpets and hard flooring to retailers and contractors across the UK.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Area Sales Representative to manage and develop an established customer base throughout the North East, while identifying and securing new business opportunities within independent flooring retailers and flooring contractors. This is a field-based role focused on building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and maximising opportunities across our extensive flooring portfolio. In addition to sales activity, you will ensure product displays remain current and well-presented through regular merchandising and sample updates.
To be successful, you will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and commercially driven, with a proven ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships. Previous flooring industry experience is essential, either in a field sales role or within a flooring retail environment.
What's on Offer?
- Basic salary of £32,000
- Uncapped commission structure with monthly bonus payments
- Realistic OTE of £45,000–£55,000
- Additional quarterly bonus scheme
