Flooring Planner / Estimator Are you a self-motivated individual who is looking for a great career opportunity and to join a leading manufacturer? Due to our continued success and growth, we now require an experienced flooring planner/estimator or someone at a junior level with proficient IT skills including Excel, with excellent numeracy skills to work within our friendly team. You will be working with our extensive client base to: Produce a material takeoff, Producing 2D visualisations of how the carpet is to be manufactured using our bespoke software Follow floor plans and interpret customer's requirements Establish the production of roll requirements Verify all aspects of production and installation ESSENTIAL SKILLS: As this role is quite specialised the successful candidate will receive the appropriate training in all areas to enable the job to be completed to Company standards, however, the successful candidate must: * Have excellent numeracy skills * Experience with Microsoft Excel. * Use of working with scaled floor plans. * AUTOCAD knowledge would be preferable but not essential as the calculations and initial layouts are done by hand * Ability to adapt to bespoke software * Be methodical and well organised * Able to take initiative and follow procedures The Company: A leading Carpet Manufacturer The salary is negotiable depending on experience Company benefits Contribution pension scheme and private healthcare, 22 days holiday plus bank
