Our client is a well-established, award-winning designer, manufacturer and supplier to the global hospitality, marine and residential interiors sectors. With an international client base and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects worldwide, they are seeking an ambitious Specification Sales Consultant to drive growth across London and the South.
The Role
This is a field-based specification sales consultant position focused on developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts and overseeing a pipeline of hospitality and interior specification projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new business opportunities and developing existing client relationships.
- Managing key accounts across Greater London and the South.
- Building relationships with interior designers, architects, contractors, procurement companies and hotel groups.
- Managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Presenting products and solutions to specification professionals.
- Following up leads, quotations, tenders and project opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM systems.
- Attending industry exhibitions, networking events and client meetings.
- Collaborating closely with internal sales and project teams.
Requirements
- Proven sales and business development experience.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
- Experience within the interiors, specification, hospitality, construction or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, organised and commercially driven.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across London and the South, with occasional visits to the North West head office.
