Charles Street Finance (CSF) is a specialist secured lender based in Cheadle, South Manchester. As a Case Manager, you will work within the Charles Street division, supporting professional property developers and investors to access bespoke funds for key projects such as Bridging finance, Buy-to-let and Development exits.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee new mortgage applications, provide initial case assessment and request additional information before progressing to underwriting.
  • Proactively manage own pipeline of cases pre‐and post‐offer, working with brokers, customers, solicitors and other third parties to minimise turnaround times.
  • Drive and manage performance of the process through coaching, support and quality control across the team to ensure SLA's are met and exceptional customer service is maintained.
  • Conduct thorough quality control reviews of each loan file to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to funding.
  • Produce weekly reports on application status, time to offer and time to fund, highlighting matters of concern and opportunities for efficiency improvements in the underwriting workflow.

Qualifications

  • Experience of mortgage or loan processing.
  • Ability to assess and interpret information supplied, e.g. bank statements, legal documents.
  • Experience of quality oversight and assurance.
  • Ability to produce weekly reports on departmental performance.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor others.
