Vickers Neal Recruitment are delighted to be working with Charles Strachan Solicitors based at their offices in Redditch. We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to support Directors and Fee Earners across the Practice. The role itself will require the individual:
- To assist Fee Earners by providing administrative support within the Family/Criminal Team to include but not limited to use of the Case Management System to create, upload and review documents, and to be able to time record work completed.
- To set up and maintain case files through the use of the Case Management System in accordance with practice procedures, ensuring that accurate, comprehensive and updated information is maintained in the case management system in accordance with the requirements and procedures under the Specialist Quality Mark.
- To provide a courteous and professional service when attending upon clients and third parties both on the telephone or in person, and where necessary accurately record any messages and pass these onto the appropriate person without delay.
- To ensure that the conduct of any client matter is carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice and with regard to professional conduct and compliance with SQM rules and obligations.
- To ensure confidentiality and security of documentation and information for both the client and the Practice is maintained in accordance with Data Protection guidelines.
- To deal accurately with digital filing, storage, and retrieval of clients’ files and that such files are kept in accordance with archiving procedures.
- To attend courses appropriate and applicable to your area of work in support of the proper performance of your role.
- To attend any departmental meetings as and when required.
- To comply with the Health & Safety Policy of the Practice and promote and protect the welfare of all who attend the office in accordance with said policy.
In order to fulfil the role, we are looking for an individual with a solid administrative background, strong general IT skills, excellent communication skills and a proactive positive manner. It is imperative that you have a desire to learn and truly value being part of a team that provides an outstanding service at all times!
