Raymond James Wealth Management Services is looking to recruit a Supervision & Governance Analyst in our London-based team. The Supervision and Governance Analyst operates within the Wealth Management Services (WMS) Division reporting to the Manager, Supervision & Governance. This role has a particular focus on supervision & governance related activities, encompassing analysis and project work to support monitoring, issue investigation and resolution, management of dashboard MI, and support in the preparation of reports and dashboards for Divisional and Group Control Committees. They will work closely with key stakeholders, in particular Branch Supervision Team and Divisional Management Team along with wider business, problem-solving and contributing to broader analysis and projects.
Principle Duties:
- Operate as a SME on RJIS' systems and on analysis including development of dashboards in appropriate systems.
- Use of RJIS' systems to conduct monitoring and investigation, across CRM, APX, PowerBI, SmartSheet, AssetQ, Intelliflo, and any other new systems introduced as part of Integration or business change.
- Utilise advanced Excel skills and IT skills to analyse data and generate insights.
- Assist in preparation of reports related to key Branch metrics and liaise with the wider team sharing insights.
- Monitoring activities as required including risk flags and AssetQ alerts.
- Work with Divisional Managers on MI required to support overall management of branches.
- Provide clear and proactive communication with Branches/Wealth Managers and other colleagues to both support where required and inform them of any changes to requirements, gather information, resolve issues, share information and updates.
- Support in projects as required that contribute to the overall supervisory framework and governance of the WMS division.
- Works independently on projects and activities that are broad in nature requiring originality and proactivity to identify risks and suggest solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in Branch monitoring processes and management information reports.
- Contribute to team and firm-wide projects as and when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the business.
Specialist/Technical Knowledge/Qualifications:
- A Level or equivalent desired.
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel (advanced skills such as pivot tables, data analysis), and PowerPoint.
- Client Service, Account Executive, or Office Administration experience within a service or sales division within the Financial Services sector required.
- Familiar with work management tools like Smartsheet or visual analytics platforms like Tableau or PowerBI would be a plus.
