Senior Infrastructure Engineer – (Infrastructure, VMware, Windows, Server, Networking, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, FortiGate, SAN, PureStorage, Firewalls, 365, ITIL, Security, Resolution Management) – Contract – 6 Months – Inside IR35 - Remote
Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on an initial 6 month contract basis with an ASAP start. The role will also be remote.
This role is Inside IR35.
Location: Remote
Day Rate: Up to £400 per Day D.O.E
Skills/Requirements for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
Extensive previous experience in a similar role
Strong Microsoft Stack skills around 365, Servers and migrations
SAN Storage experience, mainly around Capacity Management
Experience of working with 3 rd parties and managing 3 rd parties
Knowledge around Security and Vulnerability Management and their tools
Networking and Firewall experience within ideally Cisco, FortiNet/FortiGate and Palo Alto
Extensive VMware experience
Stakeholder communication and excellent documentation skills
Start date is ASAP for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
Providing senior level, hands-on support and technical ownership for data centre, network, security, hosting, storage, end-user platform and telecommunications services across the business.
Diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure incidents and recurring problems. In addition to this, coordinating with both internal teams, managed service providers and vendors where required.
