The Business Development & Marketing team partners with the firm in the development of our business, builds relationships with existing and potential clients and also manages our market profile. In broad terms, the team works on a range of activities to strengthen our brand and client engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with the media and seeking out appropriate opportunities.
- Driving the positioning of our brand through client service and thought leadership.
- Creating and managing strategic business plans at a client, partner, sector and practice group level.
- Managing the firm’s key client relationship and client listening programmes.
- Creating and implementing the firm’s digital strategy.
- Providing strategic advice and co-ordination on pitching opportunities and managing the rehearsals process.
- Working with the research team to produce and analyse companies, sectors and countries.
- Collaborating with the knowledge team on submissions to legal directories/awards and advising practices on promoting their capabilities.
- Managing the production of bulletins and briefings from conceptual stage through to distribution.
- Delivering events that enhance our brand and provide opportunities to build relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and the press.
The role of the Digital Marketing Assistant is to assist with a variety of tasks generated by the more senior members of the team, as well as supporting key marketing projects. The role reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Digital Marketing team in maintaining, updating and administering the Firm’s external digital platforms.
- Produce and publish regular, accurate social media content, ensuring all posts adhere to best practice and brand guideline standards.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule on all Firm social media accounts.
- Support the Early Talent team in creating social assets and a content plan for their Firm accounts.
- Ensure implementation of email marketing best practice including the production of regular newsletters.
- Support the digital marketing team in the delivery of digital campaigns & projects.
- Support the production of web statistics and commentary to produce content reports.
- Manage deadlines, workflow, priorities and internal client expectations effectively.
- Manage the general enquiries inbox, ensuring timely responses.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree or further education qualification in Marketing, Communications or other relevant subject.
- Computer literate – competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Confidence and good personal presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
