This role will provide expertise at a junior level in searching, reviewing and clearing conflicts results. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, helping shape our new processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing new business intake requests and collating the results of preliminary conflicts checks, ensuring search terms and corporate hierarchy results are accurate and precise.
- Reviewing and clearing conflicts results.
- Tracking clients with negotiated engagement terms that contain special requirements around conflicts.
- Assisting in keeping the firm’s red and amber client lists up to date.
- Preparing and implementing required screens/firewalls.
- Explaining conflicts issues and proposed solutions to fee‑earners.
- Helping train and develop more junior colleagues and fee‑earners.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles.
Skills and Experience:
- Clear understanding of and ability to explain relevant professional rules and guidance.
- Ideally experienced in working for a law firm.
- Experience of US conflicts rules would be useful but not required.
- Experience of working with Intapp Conflicts product is not required but would be highly desirable.

- Be able to work with minimal supervision and using own initiative.
- Able to work effectively with and build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels across the firm.
- Able to articulate difficult messages and decisions to the business through effective communication.
