Here at our state of the art site in Saffron Walden, we are recruiting for a Laboratory Support to assist the DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) team in drug discovery research. You will be part of a rapidly developing, multi-disciplinary team who are dedicated to partnering with our clients to develop quality candidate molecules, supportive of each other every step of the way!

Main Tasks:

  • Perform in vitro assays to determine the ADME properties of novel compounds. This will include training in the use of several laboratory automation tools.
  • Analyse biological samples using LC/MS (Liquid Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry) from in vitro assays.
  • Follow defined experimental procedures and processes and summarise results for quality control by others.
  • Perform routine instrument validation and maintenance duties to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Help with general laboratory housekeeping.

Full, comprehensive training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Educated to A Level (at least one Science)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Desire to work in life sciences
  • Candidates who are willing/able to work a weekend working pattern (Wednesday - Sunday) preferred
